The Top Five-Winners (Part 3)

And the Winner Is!!!!
Drumroll, please.....
The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket
The Austere Academy is book Five in A Series of Unfortunate Events. And it has to be my favorite so far (I've only just finished book Seven-The Vile Village).
With pinching crabs, Vice Principle/Violinist Nero, the best (and worst) gym coach in the world, and two very kind triplets, you don't want to miss this crucial book in the series.
Or perhaps....you do (who wants to read about miserable orphans anyway?).

This is my favorite book in the series. Period. Last year I gave one of my friends (a fellow Snicket fan) a green valentine covered in pink hearts, and put the quote from the book about the awful wallpaper from the shack inside, heehee.

Sounds like Snicket is interferring with both of our craft ideas (I'm referring to the invitations here).
This is my favorite book so far, also. Though I did like number six a lot-that Esme Squaler is a pretty entertaining (though villainous) character!

Oh yes - number six comes very close to second place! Esme cracks me up. For I while a went through an "in" faze and even produced a weekly/bi-weekly "IN Newsletter". It was great.

Really? That's awesome! I would have loved to see it!
I'm just so terribly obsessed with all that is "IN".
For example, I believe that this week, Mint Oreos and Essay Competitions are totally IN.
Unfortunately, aqueous Martini's are making their way out.

I believe that so far my favorite disguise of Olaf is Gunther or Professor Dupin.

"Aqueous Martini's are making their way out" - definitely!

Also, this week, peppermint hot chocolate and colorful knit scarves are so IN!

Urgh, so sorry! My computer was acting up. :-(

No problemo (my computer does the same thing).
I'll just have to work right away on knitting that scarf.
Also-pepperment hot chocolate is my specialty. I'm so glad it's IN!
